About the Webinar
There have been important developments around Portugal's Nationality Law, and further decisions are expected in the coming weeks — making May a timely moment to take stock.
The Golden Visa itself remains intact. The fund and cultural routes are still open, family reunification still applies, and the seven-day presence requirement is unchanged. Permanent residency after five years is also still available - and that's a point worth understanding properly, because it sits independently of the wider citizenship conversation.
On the operational side, things are genuinely improving. AIMA's online renewals went live in February, and applicants, both new and old, are receiving their appointments at a much faster pace.
Join Jason Swan, Residency & Citizenship Specialist, for a straightforward look at where the programme stands today - what the current direction of travel means for investors, how the permanent residency route fits into the bigger picture, and how to think about timing and structure if you're considering Portugal in 2026.
