About Kathy

Kathy is originally from the UK. She spent almost 12 years in the banking industry in Dubai and Bahrain, and has been in SA for nearly 25 years. Seven of those years have been in Financial Services, with the last six being in business development, helping Lourens Reichert, Regional Director for Africa grow his existing client base in South Africa and abroad. She is the initial contact with Holborn for many people and enjoys discussing the various ways they can benefit from Lourens' advice.

She has been in Sales and Marketing for her entire working life, across various industries, and won many awards for top achiever. That allowed her to travel to many amazing places around the world.

Kathy has two adult sons that she is very proud of. One is in Cape Town and the other in the UK. In addition, she has an exciting home life where she enjoys driving her Audi Quattro, flying in her two-seater plane (as a passenger), and driving at speed in a Lotus 7 at weekends.

She has overcome many obstacles in her life, so her favourite saying is: "If At First You Don't Succeed, Try, Try Again." 

The best recent read is Shoe Dog by Phil Knight, founder of Nike.
